    1. Doing Too Much Cardio, Not Enough Strength

Many people believe the treadmill is the only way to lose fat. While cardio is great for heart health, strength training is what changes the shape of your body. Muscle is metabolically active, meaning the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest. That's why our group fitness classes emphasize strength.

    2. Under-Eating Protein

If you're constantly hungry while trying to lose weight, you probably aren't eating enough protein. Protein keeps you full and helps preserve lean muscle mass while you're in a caloric deficit.

    3. Ignoring Liquid Calories

That morning latte, the sports drink during your workout, and the glass of wine at dinner all add up. Liquid calories often don't register as "food" in our brains, making it incredibly easy to accidentally consume hundreds of extra calories a day.

    4. Relying on Motivation Instead of Habits

Motivation is fleeting. Habits are permanent. If you only work out when you "feel like it," you won't see results. This is where coach-led training and the accountability of the T2W Fit Training App come into play. We help you build the discipline needed to succeed.

    5. Not Prioritizing Sleep

Sleep deprivation wreaks havoc on your hormones, specifically cortisol, ghrelin, and leptin. This makes you hungrier, more stressed, and more likely to store fat. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night.
