Instead of obsessing over what you can't eat, focus on what you should add to your diet. Add an extra serving of vegetables to your dinner. Drink an extra glass of water. Add more protein to your breakfast. When you fill up on nutrient-dense foods, there's naturally less room for junk.
2. The 80/20 Rule
Perfection is the enemy of consistency. Aim to eat whole, nutrient-dense foods 80% of the time, and allow yourself flexibility for the remaining 20%. This makes social events, birthdays, and weekends enjoyable rather than stressful.
3. Use Accountability
Building a new habit is hard to do alone. That's why coach-led training and community accountability are the pillars of T2W Fit Studio. Using tools like the T2W Fit Training App to log your meals can keep you mindful and accountable to your goals.
4. Plan Your Environment
Willpower is a finite resource. If you have cookies on the counter, you'll eventually eat them. Make healthy choices the easiest choices by keeping your kitchen stocked with nutritious options and keeping trigger foods out of the house.
5. Track Your Non-Scale Victories
The scale doesn't tell the whole story. Pay attention to how your clothes fit, your energy levels during our group fitness classes, and your overall mood. These non-scale victories will keep you motivated when the scale isn't moving.
