    Why Protein Matters

When you train hard—whether in our Speed, Agility & Performance (SPA) classes or our adult group fitness sessions in Broken Arrow—you create micro-tears in your muscles. Protein provides the amino acids needed to repair those tears, making you stronger for your next session.

    Breakfast: Start Strong

Skip the cereal and start your day with protein. Try a Greek yogurt bowl topped with berries and almonds, or a scramble made with three eggs, spinach, and feta cheese. If you're rushing, a high-quality protein shake is a great option.

    Lunch: Fuel Your Afternoon

A high-protein lunch prevents the dreaded 3 PM energy crash. Prepare a large batch of quinoa salad mixed with grilled chicken breast, cucumbers, and a light vinaigrette. Alternatively, turkey wraps using whole-grain tortillas and plenty of veggies are quick and satisfying.

    Dinner: Recover and Rebuild

Dinner is your chance to recover from the day's training. Lean ground beef stir-fry with broccoli and bell peppers over a small portion of rice is a staple. Baked salmon with asparagus and sweet potato is another excellent choice rich in healthy fats and protein.

    Snacks: Keep Hunger at Bay

Keep high-protein snacks handy: hard-boiled eggs, cottage cheese, beef jerky, or edamame. These will keep you satiated and prevent mindless snacking on empty calories.
